When my mother and I came to US, I studied in Cerritos College. It was not the university in California, and there are 2 or 3 classes every week. My mother felt it was not helpful for me, then she checked the Internet for Fullerton is the really university in America, so she let me go to this school. First of all, my subjects are ALP; ALP in CSUF is a good program to study English. It had an intensive study time. We have classes from Monday to Friday. Every day, we have classes from 8:00 to 3:45. We have enough time to study English. Secondly, there are all kinds of classes to help us studying English. Such as: Reading and Composition classes, they teach us how to read books and write an article. Oral class helps us to improve listening and speaking. Grammar and Vocabulary classes, they help us to build up our English skills. TOEFL class helps us pass it and transfer the university. Thirdly, there are a lot of out of class activities every Friday afternoon. For example: we sometimes watch movies, play Bowling and Fun lunch. They helped us English and communication friends. I will speak with new friends and improve my pronunciation next semester. If we finished the semester class, we had the ceremony and got the graduation book, sometimes gave us the potluck for congratulation and took the pictures for my teachers and classmates, so that memorized them. My accomplishing is passing the TOEFL, and transfers the university in this Fullerton. This accomplishing life will give me impression things.

Kinds of teachers

When I lived in Beijing, I had two teachers who were good for me in my school. First of all, teacher Ning was kind for me in my life. For example: she was the best teacher, and looked like a kind grandma. When we didn't study hard, she was also critical of us. One day, I make a noise. She was very angry and strict for me. When we studied very hard, she praised us and gave us a red flower. She loved us very much, and I loved her very much. Secondly, teacher Lu was also kind for me. She was a really strict teacher. When we didn;t finish the homework or correct the wrong questions, she never let us go home, and kept us in the classroom until we corrected the questions. My mother's company

My mother’s company
My mother and I came to US on July 21, 2008. Because she had a job change the Los Angeles, so I came here with her together. Her job is make the truck company with her boss. First of all, She check the Internet which job is better for her, then she worked in this company in there. But this company business was too busy, and saved a few of money. Such as: She called her drivers of truck, use the Internet called the commodities, and waited for when will be come back of them. Secondly, My mother’s drivers sometimes met an accident, because they didn’t drive the truck careful, so hit the other place, and pay a lot of money repair the truck. If my mother met the dangerous thing, her money was very less. This company has already failed. She only repeated the new job. She knew my fellow-townsman’s home was very near from the truck company. He has a niece-son in the company, and this company is very beautiful and had a small room, meeting room, and a coffee room. That is the company by himself. He let my mother worked with him together. Thirdly, this company was too far from my Cerrito city, so my mother let my father sent some money into the Los Angeles, and bought the new house in Walnut. Then, my mother’s company was very near from my new home, and this was the company by herself. Sometimes it could give some money, but the called commodities were too tired, sometimes she got up very early. In conclusion, She will go back to China on Dec 27 this year, Because there are a lot of people have already sent the message for my mother, and let her lecture of the different cities. If she lectured more, she will save the more money and not very tired. This is the company of the memory in my life.

Happy Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving Day in US is the fourth Thursday of November. It is the best festival, and looks like the Spring Festival in China. All of the places are closed for the holiday; many schools take a break for a week. Last year, my mother, my grandmother and I visited the Uncle Yang’s home while he was taking a big party. There are a lot of uncles, aunts, old men, old women, boys and girls. They are the friends of them. But a girl studied very hard, she memorized 200 words every day. Then I played the games with some children, and watch the television of the evening meeting. They are very interesting and exciting. When we ate the dinner, there are a lot of vegetables, fish, meat on the table. The most delicious food is turkey, it is the thanksgiving holiday food people eat. We left the home at 9:00 o’clock, Thanksgiving Day gave me a happy in my life.

Registering for classes is important and critical for my study. You can register for class successfully by following these steps. First, choose classes you need to register for. Then, choose your time, teacher, subject for the record. Next, enter the website of your school, and type your ID and Password. After that, go to the page of registration. Enter class information, fill in the subject, and click to register. Sometimes I used a piece of paper to write how many classes, and the other classes are there in a week. My Dream Job

I have a dream job when I grew up want to be an engineer, because engineer could make a lot of buildings and move home the building. Since I was a child, I lived in Beijing’s place of ‘’TaYuan’’, it was very beautiful in the yard. They are fresh flowers, houses, and pavilion. I loved them very well. On day, my mother said: ‘’we moved the new home”, I answered why didn’t move the building. My mother said, “Only the engineer could do anything”. Travel in China

If I could visit anywhere in the country, I would go and visit the China every summer vocation. Because I was born in China,
And people spoke in Chinese, so I always came back to there since I had just come to Los Angeles. First of all, Beijing is the capital of China. People are very polite and friendly. But the cars and people were very more, if you drove on the general road, traffic often crowd and drive very slow. Secondly, there are a lot of buildings are more cover more better in Beijing, Parks are more repair more beautiful, traffic is more independent more better, and the visitors are more and more.

There are all kinds of movies I have watched, but my favorite kind is the fiction movie. I enjoy fiction movies for a number of reasons. First of all, fiction movies are usually very interesting. Today and five years ago of myself

When I was a teenager, I lived in ShenYang China because my father and mother's job in there, so I went there with them. I practiced use bus and go to school by myself. Sometimes my mother let me spent money buy anything. Later I graduated in high school, my mother and I came to US.I found America has some ways are different. First of all, taxis are very less; people speak in English. Secondly, environment is very clean, people have never had the sick. Thirdly, most of the buildings only 2 floors, and apartments and houses don't have the gate. If people had not the car, you didn't alive and go out. The same way is: bus is very more, so I often go to school and after school by it. But I studied a new thing by myself, I had finished the lunch or supper, I washed some Bowls, plates, chopticks, and spoons when I finish these food. Then I put them very tidy. Sometimes I studied in Cerritos College, I practice go to the tutor lab and practice the Math, Reading, and Writing, So my test improve a lot. This is myself things in the US of life.

Hu Lan Liu

When I was a child, I listened to the story, "Hu Lan Liu". She looks very young. Since she closed the temple,and rival wants to know who is the Communism Party in the village. My Father

If you asked me who is the person that has made a difference on me, I will say that is my father. I am very like my father because he is helpful of my studying everything on my mind. He speaks good Korean. He is a professor in University of ShenYang. When I had the midterm or final test, he always reviewed my lessons for me, so that my grades were very good. Sometimes he sent a lot of money for us and 1 time he bought the new house for us. When I was sick in China, he bought the medicine for me,and hoped I would get well quickly. My father is also willing to help others, he helped his students who met sad things. In order to let me study in US university, he was worried that my English is good or not. He often asked my mother in the telephone if I passed my TOEFL. After I did well on it, and I told my father, he was very happy and told me study very hard. My father always tells me that I need to study hard and do the housework by myself. Sometimes he told me to be hard-working, and don't lie down the bed every morning, and read English and Korea loudly, so that improves my memory. A Memorable Event in My Life

My memorable experience happened during the summer vacation. I had an exciting boat tour under the Niagara Falls. Last summer, I had a chance to visit the famous Niagara Falls, and we took a special boat tour under the Niagara Falls. It was so exciting when our boat went near the Falls. We put on raincoats and looked up at the great Falls. The sounds of the water were just like thounder, The water made us wet all over. Everyone on the boat was busy taking pictures, laughing, and shouting at the Falls. I was so excited to watch the Niagara Falls in near distance. You could feel the beautiful falls just together with you, so I liked Niagara Falls very much. I'll never forget the wonderful Niagara Falls, it is one of the memorable events in my life.

A Person Who Has Made a Difference--My Mother

If you asked me who is the person who has made a difference in my life, I will say that is my mother. I am proud of my mother because she is capable of almost anything. She speaks good English, cooks good dishes, works very hard and is always ready to help others. My mother was a manager in a big U.S. company in China, She also gave a lot of lectures in many universities and got good pay. In order to give me a good education in the US, she gave up her loved job. My mother and I met a lot of difficulties when we first came to the US. But she worked very hard, and overcame the difficulties one by one. For example, driving the car was very difficult, I can't remember how many times we lost our way. I learned from my mother that everything is possible if we work hard. My mother is always ready to help others. In the US, she helped many others who don't know much English. Every time we take the airplane from China to the US, she always helps others to fill in the form, do the translation, and show them the way. Also, we have a friend who had a big quarrel with her husband, and my mother tried her best to solve their conflict. My mother often tells me, it is always a great pleasure if you can help others. I believe it is true and I learned to do that. I feel very happy when I open the door for others, and hear them say "thank you!"

My favorite place

If I could visit anywhere in the World, I would go and visit the White House in Washing DC. Because it is the center of US and the place where the US president works or lives. In June, we had joined a tourist group to visit the eastern coast cities, such as New York, Washing, DC, philadaphie and Sherly Chocolate World, and Niagara Falls. But we didn't have the chance to go inside of the White House. My favorite place is Niagara Falls. We watched beautiful Falls from the top, took a boat at the Bottom of Niagara Falls. We walked along Goat Island of the Niagara Falls, and took many pictures.This is a happy trip that I'll always remember.

I graduated from high school in China, and came to the United States with my mother. We live in the city of Walnut now. I came to Fullerton on January 20th, 2009. I am studying English in CSU Fullerton now because I want to improve my English quickly. We have classes from Monday to Friday. There are all kinds of classes to help us study English. Her least favorite subject is math. Amy had many interesting jobs when she was younger. She has been a high school teacher and cashier. Amy taught English in Korea for 2 years.
